Mudchooks Improving
[ Saturday, 5 May 2012 ]

The Bungendore Mudchooks played Taralga Tigers on a Sunny Saturday afternoon entertaining their supporters with competitive rugby. The first half saw both teams get opportunity to score but the defensive lines where well-rehearsed and held back the attacking sides on numerous occasions. However the Tigers capitalised on some costly mistakes and ended the half with a try and no conversion. Score 5- 0 at the break.

In the second half the Mudchooks came out with a passion of old and dominated their way into the Tigers half seeing some impressive work from fly half Adam Gowen utilising the running lines of his full back Josh Stevens and pace from the two wingers. The Mudchooks are showing signs of a very good side, with improvement of a few elements this team can be a very competitive side this season. The day went to the Taralga Tigers Scoring most of their points in the later stage of the game with the final score being 24 – 0. The score was not indication of the game and although the Tigers got the points on the day the Mudchooks can hold their heads high.
